INVESTMENT GUIDELINES

1. Track your spending - and plan for your savings from your known sources of income - learn a lot of behavioral finance 

2. Bucket your investments based on your risk profile, dont deal in stocks if you dont know the risk and wait for price to come up to your buy price - you will lose on time 

3. Diversify your portfolio and dont pull all investments into only 1 bucket 

4. Understand behavioral finance and note down how your behavior is on any instrument 

5. Don't run behind "Get rich quick" schemes, most of them are scams

6. Have an end number in mind along with the timeframe. Most of us don't do this. 

7. To arrive at 6, use a simple formula - if today school fees for a kid in engineering is 1.5 L - it can be roughly 6 L in 10 years with most factors considered. And it is a fair estimate. So your goal in 10 yrs should be to reach 6, 12, 18 or 24 L capital - and not 2 crores. Yes, I am not counting inflation here as the inflation takes it from 1.5 L to 6 L 

8. As and when you near your target, always rebalance your portfolio from more riskier stuff to less riskier stuff - most of us dont do this as well. 

9.  Track your investments regularly and dont be afraid to change and adapt to changing needs. Be ok with hiccups and slowdowns in between - part of the process 

10. The stock market is not like a bank where you put money and forget. Please monitor from time to time if dealing with direct equities. 

21 things I wish I knew 21 years ago

 As I write this post draft on August 16,2025, I complete 21 years in the corporate industry, including 1 year in the non IT field (am an mech engineer), and close to 20 years in the IT sector. Here are some of my thoughts on the corporate sector and things I knew a bit earlier in my career and pass it down to others to take a leaf out of it as applicable. 

1. As a fresher, I used to divide my CTC by 12 and calculate per month salary  - feels like laughing about it now. Learn to look into the fine print, deductions and taxes and what not . 12000 per year is not 1000 per month in your pocket. Numbers might change but the concept is the same  

2. Look for roadmaps for your own career and never feel afraid to experiment. As we are more experienced, we always stop at our own tech stack or tool or what not, but it’s us limiting ourselves from failures. Always remember you never learnt that first tool by yourself. It’s the willingness that matters 

3. Upskill all the time no matter the progress level. Don’t feel let down by the pace of changes in the outside world 

4. Always have me time everyday atleast for 10 mins - choose your own favourite spot for this and deduce mentally what went well or didn’t go well 

5. Don’t carry the office title home and the aura it creates. All these titles aren’t worth anything in probably 20 years. Treat people as people 

6. Plan your spends well as much as savings. Too much on either end spoils your overall balance  

7. The higher on the career ladder shouldn’t compromise too much on the personal front or vice versa. 

8. Collaborations work better than competition as you move up.  

9. You don’t need to be the smartest in the room to make work happen. 

10. Make meetings short, quick and to the point and try to avoid setting lengthy meetings. Try to listen more than speak more even though you might be an expert at the subject 

11. Deal with conflicts constructively and question why the other side is better or what might be the implication than trying to prove only your design is better  

12. No matter the situations, keep emotions outside of work and don’t mix work ethics with personal agendas  

13. Always remember you are just a statistic to the company when the time comes and that’s why point 2 and 3 are important.   

14. Someone beautifully said, you can build skills or tech or anything else, but you can’t build attitude. Have the right attitude when it comes to work  

15. Be ready to be working on weekends when required but always question the importance.

16.  Learn to say NO. Avoids a lot of drama and toxic behaviour  

17. You might end up with lot of disagreements in your firm but if it’s affecting your mental peace, you know time is come to move on 

18. Pursue your hobbies well. We are not machines to just be working only

19.  Learn to distinguish friends and co-workers. Harsh truth - Not all co workers are friends  

20. If you feel burned out a lot, it’s time to take a break and look at it afresh and not QUIT. Mental well being starts with you 

21. You are alone in your own journeys and no one will draw that map for you. Take charge and create your own stars, because you are star dust :) 

ಹನಿಗವನಗಳು

೧. ಮೋಡದ ಒಳಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಹನಿಯ.. ಧೂಳಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ದ್ವನಿಯ.. ಕೇಳಬೇಕು ನನ್ನ ನಲ್ಲೆ ನೀ ಮಾಡುವ ಗದ್ದಲವ.. ನನ್ನ ಎದೆಗೊರಗಿ ನಿಂತಾಗ  

೨. ಲಹರಿ ಎನದಾದರೆ, ಸ್ವರ ನೀನು; ಹಾಡು ನಾನಾದರೆ, ಧ್ವನಿ ನೀನು.. ಹಕ್ಕಿ ನಾನಾದರೆ, ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನು....ಎಲೈ ಆಗಸ ನಾನಾದರೆ ಮೂಡಲ ರವಿ ನೀನು 

 ೩. ಹಾರಿತೆಂದಾಗ ನೆನಪಾಯಿತು, ನನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಯಿತೆಂದು... ಯೋಚನೆ ಮೂಡಿತೊಂದು.. ಹೇಳು ನಾ ಯಾರೆಂದು..ಆಗ ತಿಳಿಯಿತೊಮ್ಮೆ  ನಾ ನಾನಲ್ಲ... ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ನೀ .. ನೀನಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾ... ಇಲ್ಲದಿರೆ ಶೂನ್ಯ 

೪. ಸರಿ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಪ್ರಪಂಚ; ಎತ್ತೆಳೆದು ಆಡಿಸಿದೆ ಜೀವನ;

ಸಾಯುವ ಜೀವಕೆ ನೀರುಣಿಸುವುದು ಸರಿ, ಅವ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರನಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಪ್ಪು...

ಈ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಎನಿತು .. 

ಮಾಯಲೋಕದೋಳ್ ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿ ನಾನಾಗಿ; ಎತ್ತಲಿಂದ ಬಂದೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟೆ: ಮದುವೆಗೋ ಮಸಣಕೋ ದಾರಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವ ಪುರುಷೋತ್ತಮ ನನ್ನೊಳಗಿಹನೋ ಅವಿತು ಕುಳಿತು.. 

ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೆದರದಿರು , ಕರ್ಮವ ಮಾಡುತ ನಡಿ ಮುಂದೆ.. ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಇಹುದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಶಕ್ತಿ. 

೫. ನಾನೆಂಬ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಯಾರು , ನನ್ನವರ್ಯಾರು .. ಈ ಭವ ಸಾಗರದೋಳ್ ದಾಟಿಸುವ ನಾವಿಗನ್ಯಾರು ? ಮಾಡುವ ಪೂಜೆಯೇನು ದೋಷವೇನು .. ಪಾಪ ಪುನ್ಯಗಳೇನು ... ಪುಣ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕವೆಂದು ಮೋಕ್ಷ ದೊರಕುವುದೇನು ... ಮೊಕ್ಷವೇ ಆಸೆಯೆಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲೂ ದುಃಖವಿದಿಯೇನೋ 

೬. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವೇನ್ ತಾಪವೇನ್ ತಿಳಿಯುವ ನಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೇನ್ ಅರಿಯದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆ ಪ್ರಿಯೇ .. ಯೌವ್ವನವೆಂಬ ಮಾಯಾ ಕನ್ನಡಿಯೊಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಿಂಬ ಅದೆನಿತು ಶಾಶ್ವತ .. ಯೌವ್ವನವೇ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಲ್ಲದಮೇಲೆ 

೭. ತಾಯಿಯ ಹಾಲಿಗೆ ಚಡಪಡಿಸುವ ಮಗುವಿನ ಅಳಲಿನಂತೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಡುವ ಹಂಬಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತಿರುವಂತಿದೆ ... 
ನೀ ಬಾರದೇ ಹೋದಂತೆ: ಕತ್ತಲು ಕವಿದು ನನ್ನ ಆವರಿಸಿ, ಮನಸಿನ ತಳಮಳ ದಿಘ್ಭ್ರಮೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿ, ಕಾಯುವ ಹೃದಯದ ಬಡಿಗೆ ನಡಗುವಂತೆ, ಭಾವನೆಯ ಮಹಾಪೂರ ಎದೆಯೆನ್ನಾವರಿಸಿ ನೃತ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದಂತಿದೆ... 
ನಿನ್ನ ಆ ಧ್ವನಿಯ ಸಪ್ಪಳ ಕೇಳಿದಂತೆ, ನಡುಕ ನಿಂತು, ಮನಸು ಹಗುರಾಗಿ, ರೆಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಹಾರಿತಾಮನವು 

೮. ಸೂರ್ಯ ಮುಳುಗುತಿರಲು... ನೀ ಬೀರುವ ಆ ತುಂಟ ನೋಟದೊಳು..  ಮುಸಿ ನಗೆಯೊಳು.. ತಿರುಗುವ ಭಾವಾದೊಳು ...  ಕೆಂಪು ತುಟಿಯ ಅಂಚಿನೊಳು .. ಇರುವ ದೂರದೊಳು .. ನಡುವಿನ ಅಂತರದೊಳು .. ಘಾಡ ಕತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆನಿಪಿನೊಳು : ಕಳೆವ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು - ರೋಮಾಂಚನ ..ಸಿಂಚನ ..ಕಾಂಚನ !

೯. ಡಾರ್ಲಿಂಗ್ ...ಲವ್ .. ಡಿಯರ್ ಅನ್ನೋ ಸಮಯದೊಳು ... ಹೋಗೆ, ಬಾರೆ, ಲೇ ಅನ್ನೋವಾಗ ಅರಿಯುವ ಸತ್ಯ ; ಮೊದಲ ಮೂರು ಪದಗಳು ಬೇರೆ ಹುಡುಗಿಯರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲು ..ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳಿಗೆ 

೧೦. ಆಕಾಶ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೀರೆಯಾದರೆ, ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು ನಿನ್ನ ರವಿಕೆಯ ಅಂಚು;
ಮಳೆ ಹನಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಂಬನಿಯಾದರೆ, ಮೋಡ ಕವಿದ ಸೂರ್ಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಲಜ್ಜೆಯೇ ?
ಸೂರ್ಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣೆ ಬೊಟ್ಟುಯಾದರೆ, ಮಿಂಚು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೊಂಟದ ಇಣುಕು;
ಶಶಿಯು ನಿನ್ನ ನಗುವಾದರೆ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಣ ನಿನ್ನ  ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಿಂಚು.... 
... ಆ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮಿಂಚಿನ ಬೆಳಕಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನ ಅಂಚು, ಓದುತಿರುವೆ ನಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಸಂಚು;
ಸಂಚು ಮುಗಿದಂತೆ ಹೊಸ ತಿರುವಿನಂತೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತು ಕವಲು ದಾರಿ .. 
ದಾರಿಯ ಒಂದು ಬದಿ ನೀಯಾದರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆ ಒಂಟಿತನದ ಗೋಜು .. ಗೋಜೊಲು ದಿಕ್ಕು ತೋಚದೆ ಓಡಿ ಬರಲೇ ನಿನ್ನೆಡೆಗೆ ಎನಿಸಿದಾಗ .. ಹೊರಟಿತು ಚೀರುವ ದನಿಯೊಂದು ...ಏನೆಂದು ಹೊರಳಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಆಗಿತ್ತು ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ರಿಂಗಣವೆಂದು 

೧೧. ಕಣ್ಣ ರೆಪ್ಪೆಯಂಚಿನಲಿ ಕಂಡಿದೆ ಭೀತಿಯ ನೋಟವೊಂದು; ನೋಟದ ಅರ್ಥವಿಷ್ಟೇ: ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡೆಯಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಂದು .. 
ಕಣ್ಣ ರೆಪ್ಪೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೊಡೆ ನೆನೆಸು ನೀ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು, ಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ... ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬುತಿರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಾ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ತನಂತಾನೆ ಪುನಶ್ಚೇತನವಾದಿತು  ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವ ಜೀವಕೆ ಜಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕಂತೆ 

೧೨. ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯೊಳು, ಅರೆ ನಿದ್ದೆಯೊಳು, ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಏಳುವ ಹೋರಾಟದೊಳು,ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಲಿ ಇಂಪಾದ ಧ್ವನಿ ಬರುತಿರಲು, ಧ್ವನಿಯ ಮೂಲ ಸುಬ್ಬಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಸ್ವರ ಸುಪ್ರಭಾತವಾಗಿರಲು, ದೇವಲೋಕವೇ ತುಚ್ಚವೆನಿಸುವುದು ಮನುಜ ನೀ ಕಣ್ತೆರೆಯಲು. 

೧೩. ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು ಬಣ್ಣ,ಮುದುಡಿ ಹೋಯಿತು ಬಳ್ಳಿ , ಚೂರಾಯಿತು ಹೃದಯ, ಮಂಕಾಯಿತು ಬುದ್ಧಿ; 
ಹಕ್ಕಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಮುರಿದು, ಹರಿಣಿಯ ಕಾಲು ನಲುಗಿ, ಬೆಳಕು ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೆ ಹೆದರಿ , ಹೃದಯ ಗಾಜಿನಂತಾಗಿರಲು; ಕಲ್ಲೊಡೆದು ನಗುವ ಜನರಿಹರು .. ಚಿಮ್ಮಿ ಹೊರ ಬರುವುದೇ ಕೊನೆ ಕ್ಷಣದ ಹುಸಿ ನಗುವು ? 

೧೪. ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ಚಂದ್ರ ಮೇಲಿರಲು, ಆಗಸದೊಳು ಚಲಿಸುವ ಮೋಡವಿರಲು, ಮೋಡದ ಜೊತೆ ಚಂದಿರನ ಜಗಳವಿರಲು, ಬಂಡಿಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಪ್ರೇಯಸಿ ಇರಲು , ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೊರೆಡಲು ಇಚ್ಚಿಸುವವನೇ ಮೂಢ 

೧೫. ಆ ಶಶಿಯು ಇಣುಕಿ ನೋಡುತಿಹನು ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದಾಚೆ, ಹೊರಳಿ ನೋಡಿದರೆ ನಗುತಿಹನು; ಮೋಡದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಸರಸವಾಡುತ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಳುತಿಹನು, ನನ್ನ ಎದೆಯ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿಬಿಡು ಪ್ರಿಯೆಗೆಂದು,
ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಮಿನುಗಿ ನಗುವಿನ ಅಲೆಯ ಮಾಡುತಿಹರು; 
ಇರುಳಿನಲಿ ಸೊಬಗಿದೆ, ಮೋಡದಲಿ ಹನಿಯಿದೆ, ಸಾಗರದ ಅಲೆಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯೊಳು ಇಂಪಿದೆ, ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಯ ಝೆಂಕಾರವಿದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸನಿಹದೊಳು ಜಗವಿದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರಹದೊಳು ಸಿಹಿ ನೆನಪಿದೆ

೧೬. ಜೊರ ಬಂದಾಗ ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದೇ ವೈದ್ಯ , ದಾಹ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬೇಕಾಗುವುದೇ ನೀರು, ಶೆಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ನೆನಪಾಗುವುದೇ ತಂಗಾಳಿ, ಚಳಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಚ್ಚೆನೆಯ ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆ 

೧೭. ಕಣ್ಣಂಚಿನ ಮಿನುಗಿನ ನೋಟವು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆ ಮಾಡತೊಡಗಿತು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸಿನ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಯ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಗುಳುನಗೆಯು ಆಕ್ರಮಿಸಿತು ನನ್ನೆದೆಯ; ಆ ಸಂಪಿಗೆ ಮೂಗಿನ ನಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಉಷ್ವಾಸ ಆವರಿಸಿತು ನನ್ನ ಮೈಯ್ಯ .. ಎಲೈ ಸುಂದರಿಯೇ - ಇನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸನಿಹವಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಡುವೆ ನನ್ನ 

೧೮. ಮನಿಸ್ಸಿನ ಉದ್ವೇಗ ಕ್ಷಣದ ಪಯಣ, ರವಿಯ ಕಿರಣ ಬೀಳಲು ನಿಮಿಷದ ಪಯಣ, ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ಕೂಗು ಘಂಟೆಯ ಪಯಣ, ಬೆಳಕಿನಿಂದ ಕತ್ತಲಿನೊಳು ದಿನದ ಪಯಣ, ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣದೋಳ್ ಭಾಸ್ಕರನು ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ತಿಂಗಳ ಪಯಣ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಸೂರ್ಯಮಂಡಲದೋಳ್ ಸುತ್ತಲು ವರ್ಷದ ಪಯಣ, ನಿನ್ನ ನನ್ನ ಪಯಣ.. ನಿರಂತರ, ಅನಂತ ಸಾಗರ 

೧೯. ಮನೆಯಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿರಲು, ಕೋಣೆಯಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಇರಲು, ದೀಪ ಆರಿರಲು, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲು, ಮನಸಿಗೆ ಹಾತೊರೆಯುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಉತ್ತರ ಯಾವಾಗ ಬರುವುದೆಂದು; 
ಉತ್ತರ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಬಾರದಿರಲು, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗುರ್ರ್ ಎಂದು ಶಬ್ದ ಮಾಡಲು, ನಾ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡು ಅತಿಷೆಯದಿಂ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಬೇರೆ ಗೆಳತಿಯ ಸಂದೇಶವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಲು, ಚಡಪಡಿಸುತ ಕೂತಿರುವೆ ಮತ್ತೊಮೆ ಅವಳ ಆಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ. 

೨೦. ನೆನ್ನೆ ನಾಳೆಗಳ ಒದ್ದಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಜೆಯ ಅಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಘಂಟೆ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳ ಘಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ; ಈಗನ್ನು ಸವಯುದವ ಮರೆತ ನಾವು, ಅವನಗಿಂತ ಬಲ್ಲ ಸಮರ್ಥರೆಂದು ವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡಿ ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.. ಜೀವ ಹೋದ ನಂತರ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿ ಮನಃಶಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ .. ಮನುಜನ ಅಹಂಕಾರವೇ ಅವನ ಸರ್ವ ಪತನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ... ಸಕಲ ಗೃಹ ಬಲ ನೀನೇ ಸರಸಿಜಾಕ್ಷ 

೨೧. ಕವಿತೆ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳತಿ ನಿನಗೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆ ಕೇಳು, ಮಳೆಯ ಚಟ-ಪಟ ಹನಿಯ ದನಿಯೊಳು ನಾದವಿದೆ, ಇರುವೆಯ ಸಾಲಿನಲೂ ಒಂದು ಅರ್ಥವಿದೆ, ಮಿಂಚು ಹುಳುವಿನ ತುದಿಯಲು ಬೆಳಕಿದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ದನಿಯೊಳು ಸುಮಧುರ ಸಂಗೀತವಿದೆ . 

೨೨. ಶಬ್ದ ಕೋಶದ ಪದಗಳು ಖಾಲಿಯಾಗಿವೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಟವ ವರ್ಣಿಸಲು ಹೋಗಿ, ದ್ವಂದ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವೆ ಈಗ - ಪದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರೆಯಲೆಂದೊ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಡುತ ಜೀವನ ಕಳೆಯಲೆಂದೊ;

೨೩. ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಚಣ, ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ನ, ಹಲವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ಮೂರ್ತಿ, ಮತ್ತೋರ್ವರಿಗೆ ಮನೆ,ಮಡದಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ... 
ನಿಜವಾದ ಸ್ಥಿರ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಬಣ್ಣನೆ ಹೃದಯದ ಅಂತರಾಳದಲ್ಲಿದೆ, ಅವಳ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಪದ್ಮನಾಭಾನೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಯೋಗ ನಿದ್ರೆಗೆ ಜಾರಿರುವ.. ನಿಜವಾದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಎಂದರೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ .. ಆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗು ಸಿಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಶಿಸುವೆ. 

೨೪. ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನು ನೂಕುವ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿಶೇಷವಿದೆ, ಕತ್ತಲಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಅರ್ಥ, ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಲು ಗೆಲುವುಗಳ ಬೇಧವಿಲ್ಲ, ಕತ್ತಲಿನಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿನೆಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ನಾವು ಆಗಾಗ ಕತ್ತಲಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಅನುಕಂಪ ತೋರಬೇಕು .. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಉದಯ ಕಾಣಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. 

೨೫. ನಿನ್ನ ಚಂದಿರನಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾರೆ, ಅವನಲ್ಲೂ ಕಪ್ಪು ಚುಕ್ಕಿಯಿದೆ.... ಹಾಲಿಗೂ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾರೆ, ಹುಳಿ ಹಿಂಡಿದರೆ ಹೆಪ್ಪಾಗುವುದು ... 
ನಿಂತ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಲಾರೆ, ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬ ಡೊಂಕಾಗುವುದು ... 
ನೀನು ಹರಿಯುವ ಝಾರಿಯಂತೆ, ನಿರಂತರ, ನಿರುಪಮ, ನಿತ್ಯ ಸತ್ಯ. 

೨೬. ಭಾವನೆ ಶೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ಆಡಿಸಿ ಮಾಯೆಯೊಳು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಹೋರಾಟವ ನೋಡಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅಪರಂಜಿಯ ಹೊರಗೆ ತೆಗೆಯುವ;
ಅಪರಂಜಿಗಳು ಹಲವಾರು, ಕಲ್ಲಿದಲ್ಲು ಸಹಸ್ರಾರು, ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿದಲ್ಲು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಭೂದಿಯಾದೀತು, ಅಪರಂಜಿ ಹೊಳೆದೀತು ... ಅವನ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅವೆಲ್ಲ ಒಂದೇ .. ನಿತ್ಯ ಕರ್ಮವೆ ಜಗದ ಸತ್ಯ. 

೨೭. ಅಧರದ ಮಧುರ ಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಡುವ ಹಂಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗೀಚಿದೆ ಮನಕ್ಕೆ ತೋಚಿದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾಲುಗಳ... ಬಂದುಬಿಡು ಬೇಗನೆ ನಮ್ಮೂರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಣ್ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ತೆಗೆಯುವ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ.. ಮಿಡಿಯುತಿದೆ ಹೃದಯ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ 

೨೮. ಮಾತಾಡು ನೀ ಇಲ್ಲ ಮುತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೊಡು, ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತುಟಿಗೆ ತುಟಿ ತಾಕುವುದು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ, ಮುತ್ತಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗು ನಿನಗೂ ... ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೋ ಬಾ ನನ್ನನು ನೀ.. ಈ ಚಳಿಯ ಕಂಪನ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ .. ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆಯ ಶಾಖದ ನೆನಪು ಸಾಕು ಚಳಿಯ ಬಡಿದಟ್ಟಲು. 

೨೯. ಮನದ ಮುಗುಳುನಗೆ ಆ ಹಳೆ ನೆನಪುಗಳ ಮೆಲಕು ಹಾಕುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ; 

ಮೊದಲ ಮಳೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ವಾಸನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರೇಯಸಿಯೊಡನೆ ಬೈ-೨ ಕಾಫಿ 
ಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಗೆಳೆಯರೊಡನೆ ಆ ಪೋಲಿ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಾಳಿನ ಸಂಗಾತಿಯೊಡನೆ ಆ ಸುಂದರ ಪಯಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ... 

ಸಂಜೆಯ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಳುಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗಿನ ಮೊಗ್ಗು ಅರಳುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಚಂದಿರ ಬೆಳಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಧ್ಯಾನದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಘಂಟೆ ಬಾರಿಸವುದರಲ್ಲಿ 

ಆ ಸಣ್ಣ ಮಗುವಿನ ಕೆನ್ನೆ ಕೆಂಪಾಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ, ಪಕ್ಕದ ಮನೆ ಹುಡುಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮುತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಲ್ಲಿ... ಮುಂದೆನಿತು ಹೇಳುವುದು, ನೆನಪಸಿ ನಕ್ಕುಬಿಡಿ :)

೩೦. ನಮ್ಮ ಯಾಣ ಹೊರಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಕಡೆಗೆ, ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಆಯಿತು ಇಡ್ಲಿ ವಡೆಯ ಸೇವೆ; ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡುತ ಕುಳಿತೆವು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಂಚಿನಲಿ, ಕಾಲ ಉರುಳಿತು, ಸಂಜೆಯಾಯಿತು, ಮರಳಿ ನಡೆದೆವು ಮನೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ; 
ರಾಮ ಹರಸಲಿ ನಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ಜೋಡಿಯ, ಚಿರಕಾಲ ಉಳಿಯಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಎದೆಯ ಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ..
ಮರಳಿ ಬರಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಪಯಣಗಳು, ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಗಳು, ಸುಂದರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು, ರಸವತ್ತಾದ ತುಟಿಗಳು,ಲಜ್ಜೆಯ ಸನ್ಹೆಗಳು, ಪ್ರೇಯಸಿಯ ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆಯು, ಕೂಸುಮರಿಯ ನೆನಪುಗಳು, ಎಲ್ಲದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಗಿಲಾಗಿ ಜೊತೆಯಿರುವ ಅನುಭವಗಳು. 

೩೧. ಅಕ್ಷರದ ಜೋಡಣೆ ಪದವು, ಪದಗಳ ಜೋಡಣೆಗೆ ವಾಕ್ಯವು, ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ಗುಂಪು ಗದ್ಯವು, ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಲೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಮಿಂಚಿತು ... ಪದ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪದ್ಯವು. 

೩೨. ಸೊಂಪು ಸೂಸುವ ನಿನ್ನ ನಗೆ, ಕೆಂಪು ತಾವರೆಯ ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿ,ಮೀನಿನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೋಟ, ಬಿಂಕ ಬಿಗುಮಾನ.. ಯಾರ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವೆ ಗೆಳತಿಯೇ.. ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂದ ಚೆಂದ ವಯಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗಿ, ಈಜಲು ಮರೆತು, ಮುಳುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವವರ ಕಡೆಗೆಲ್ಲ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯ ಉಗುರಿನಂಚನು ತಾಕಿಸು... ನೀರು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗಬಹುದು ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶದ ಶಾಖಕ್ಕೆ. 

೩೩. ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಮಂಜಿನ ಹನಿಗಳು ಮೈಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುತಿರಲು, ಎದಿರು ರಸ್ತೆ ಕಾಣದಿರಲು, ಚಳಿಯು ನನ್ನ ನಡುಗುಸಿತರಲು .. ನಲ್ಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಒಂದು ನೆನಪು ಎದೆಯನು ಬೆಚ್ಚಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದೆ .. ಬಡಿಯುತಿದೆ.. ರಕ್ತವು ಹರಿಯುತಿದೆ ಮೈಯ ಕಣ ಕಣದೊಳು. 

೩೪. ಪೂಜೆಗೆಂದು ಹೋದಳು ನನ್ನವಳು, ಅವ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ಮಳೆಗರೆದು, 
ಹಾಯಾಗಿ ಮಲಗಿರಬೇಕು ಇವಳು, ಆಕಳಿಸುತಾ ಎದ್ದು ನಾ ಕೂತಿರಲು.. ನಾಳೆ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಆಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗುತೀನಿ ನಾನೀಗ ... ಒಲವೇ .. ನೀ ಬಂದು ಬಿಡು ಬೇಗ.

೩೫. ಜೇನಿಗೆ ಹೂವ, ಅಡುಗೆಗೆ ಉಪ್ಪು,ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ಕಾಫಿಯ ಪರಿಮಳ, ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತು, ಭಿಕ್ಷುಕನಿಗೆ ಕವಳ; ನಿನ್ನ ಉತ್ತರ .... ಇದೆಲ್ಲವು ಹೃದಯ ಸನಿಹ. 

೩೬. ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ಸೂರ್ಯಕಾಂತಿಯು ಅರಳಿರುವ ಸೊಬಗು, ಹಸಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೆರಗು; ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ತಲೆಯ ಕಿರೀಟದಂತೆ ಕಂಗಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ  ಬಾದಾಮಿ ಇಂದು. 

೩೭. ಮಲಗುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಹೇಳುವೆ ಚಿನ್ನ, ದಿನದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಕವಿತೆ, ನೀ ಅಲ್ಲಿರಲು- ನಾ ಇಲ್ಲಿರಲು ಬಂತೇನು ಸುಖ, ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೊರಳಾಡುವ ಬಾ : ಜಗವೇ ಶೂನ್ಯ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೊಂಟದ ಅಂಚು ಹಿಡಿದಿರಲು .. ನಿನ್ನ ಎದೆಯ ಭಾರ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿರಲು.   

೩೮. ಬಿಸಿಲು ಧೂಳಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಳು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಹಸಿದ ಸಮಯದೊಳು, ಬುರ್ಕಾ ಹಾಕಿದಂತೆ ಬಂದಳು ಓಡೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು; 

ಆ ತಂಪು ಏ/ಸಿ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಮೆತ್ತೆನೆಯ ಸೋಫಾ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತು ಏನು ತಿಂದೆನೋ ನಾ ತಿಳಿಯೆ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗ ಲೋಕೊದೋಳ್ ತಟ್ಟಿ ಕರೆದಂತಾಯಿತು, ಅವಳ ಕಾಲ್ಗೆಜ್ಜೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಕಿದೊಡನೆ; 

ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಳು ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ, ಇಟ್ಟಳು ಒಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯ... ಆತಂಕ ಮೂಡಿತು ಆ ಚೆಂದದ ಮುಖದೊಳು, ಅರಿಯಲು ಕಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ ಇವಳು ಏನೂ ಅರಿಯಳೆಂದು.... ಸಾವಿರ ದೇವರ ನಾಮ - ಬರೀ ಒಂದು ಟೀ ಸರಿ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂದು. 

೩೯. ಹೋಗುತ ಒಂದು ಸಂದೇಶ ಕೇಳಿ ಹೋಗು ನನ್ನೊಲವೇ , ದೂರದ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರೋ ನವಿಲೇ ... ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳು ಕೂಗಡುಟಿವೆ ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಕ್ಕದೊಳು, ಮನದಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಟ್ಯ ನಿಂತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಪೊರೆಯಂತೆ; 
ನಾಳೆಯ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲೊಳು ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಜಗದಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಗೆಯ ಇರುವು ಮರೆಸುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಇಂದು ನಾಳೆಗಳನ್ನು... 
ಈ ಸಿಹಿ ಕನಸುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಾಡುತಿರುವ ನಮಗೆ, ಬಡಿದೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವವರೆ - ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಲು, ಪೇಪರ್ ಅನ್ನೋ ಹುಲು ಮಾನವರು.

೪೦. ಏಳು ತಿಂಗಳಾಯಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ವರಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಏಳು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದೂರವಿರುವೆಂದು ಭಾಸವಾಗಿದೆ ಈ ಘಳಿಗೆಯಲಿ.....

ಏಳೇಳು ಜನ್ಮಗಳು ಜೊತೆಗಿರುವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಉಳಿದಿದೆ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು, ಸಪ್ತರ್ಷಿಗಳು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಆಗುವರು ನನ್ನ ನಿನ್ನ ಹರಸಲು...

ಏಳು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ನೀ ಇಡಲು ಕಾಲುಂಗುರುವ ನಾ ತೊಡಿಸುವೆ, ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯ ಗುರುತು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರ ಎದೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ, ಎಲ್ಲವು ಸುಂದರ ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಂತೆ ಅನಿಸುತಿದೆ ಇಂದು...

ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕಿರಣ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ತಾಗಲು ಏಳು ನಿಮಿಷ - ನಿನ್ನ ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಲು ಏಳು ಘಳಿಗೆಯೂ ಬೇಡ ಅನಿಸಿದೆ ....

ಏಳು ಸ್ವರಗಳು ಸೇರಿತು ಶ್ರುತಿಯಾಗಲು, ಏಳು ಎದೆ ಬಡಿತ ಸಾಕಾಯಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಿಯಲು ....

ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಾಲುಗಳ, ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅರಿತೆ ಇದು ಆರನೆಯ ಸಾಲೆಂದು, ಮನಸಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದು ಗೀಚಿದರೆ ತ್ರಿಪದಿಯ ಬದಲು ಆಗುವುದು "ಸಪ್ತ" ಪದಿಯೆಂದು...

ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ, ಹುಟ್ಟು, ಬಾಲ್ಯ, ಓದು, ಆಟ, ಗೆಳೆಯರಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ಏಳನೆಯ ಪರ್ವ ನೀನು, ಏಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಗೋವಿಂದನಾಣೆಗು ಇದು ಸುಂದರ, ಮಧುರ ಪರ್ವ.

೪೧. ಹಸಿರು ಹೊಸತಲ್ಲ ಕಾಡಿಗೆ, ಉರಿ ಹೊಸತಲ್ಲ ದೀಪಕೆ, ಗಿಣ್ಣು ಹೊಸತಲ್ಲ ಆಕಳಿಗೆ, ನನಗೆ ಹೊಸತಲ್ಲ ಇವಳ ಹೃದಯದ ಬಡಿಗೆ. 

೪೨. ತುಂಬಾ ಘಾಡ ನಿದ್ರೆಗೆ ಜಾರಿರುವಳು, ಸ್ವಪ್ನದ ಅಮಲಿನಲಿ ಇರುವಳು, ಮೀನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಇವಳು; ಅತ್ತರೆ ಕಂಬನಿ ಕಾಣದು, ಆನಂದಭಾಷ್ಪವಾದರೆ ನಗೆಯೂ ಕಾಣದು..

೪೩. ಕಡಲ ತೀರದಲಿ, ಸಂಜೆ ಮುಸುಕಿನಲಿ, ಹಾಡುವ ಗುಂಗಿನಲಿ - ಕೈ ಬೀಸಿ ಕರೆಯಿತು ಸುಂದರ ಸ್ವಪ್ನವೊಂದು, 
ಈಜೋ ಹುಮ್ಮಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ನೀರಲಿ ಮುಳುಗೋ ಭಯದಲಿ, ಮತ್ಸ್ಯ ಸೊಬಗನು ಆನಂದಿಸುವ ಆ ರಸ ಘಳಿಗೆಯೂ - ಸ್ವಪ್ನವೇ ...

ಮರದ ಕುರ್ಚಿಯಲಿ, ಇವಳ ಜೊತೆಯಲಿ, ಕಣ್ಣ ನೋಟದಲಿ ಇಹವ ಮರೆವ ನೆನಪು ..ಸ್ವಪ್ನ !

೪೪. ನೀರಿನ ಹನಿ ತಾಕಿತು ನನ್ನ ... ಮನವು ಹಂಬಲಿಸಿತು ನಿನ್ನ .. ಈ ವಸಂತದ ಮೊದಲ ಮಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾ ಮಿಂದು ನೆನೆಯೋಣ ಇಬ್ಬರು .. ಪ್ರೇಮದ ಬಿಸಿಯಿಳಿಯುವ ತನಕ

೪೫. ಹಿಮ ಪವ೯ತದ ತುದಿಯಲಿ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡ ಇಣುಕು, ವಷ೯ ಋತುವಿನ ಸನಿಹದಲಿ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡ ನೋಟ, ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯ ಮುನ್ನ ಭುಗಿಲೆದ್ದ ಆಸೆ.. 
ತನ್ನ ಪಯಣ ಕೊನೆಗೊಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ನಾಳೆಯ ಮದುವೆಯ ಬಂಧನದೊಳು..

ELMAH (Error Logging Modules and Handlers) is an application-wide error logging facility that is completely pluggable. It can be dynamically added to a running ASP.NET web application, or even all ASP.NET web applications on a machine, without any need for re-compilation or re-deployment. ELMAH supports ASP.NET 1.x, ASP.NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 3.5 applications and ships with a variety of log source providers like XML or database.

Few of its features are –
• Logging of nearly all un-handled exceptions.
• A web page to remotely view the entire list of recoded exceptions and
then view the full details of any one logged exception.
• In many cases, you can review the original yellow screen of death
that ASP.NET generated for a given exception, even with customErrors
mode turned off.
• An e-mail notification of each error at the time it occurs and an
RSS feed of the last 15 errors from the log.
• Log errors to several back-end storages like Microsoft SQL Server,
Oracle (OracleErrorLog), XML files, etc.

Tips for navigating to a class definition -
If you want to go to a definition for a class, variable etc, u will need to point at the variable and press the F12 button to navigate to its definition.

Tools and utilities-

Here is a list of tools and utilities that can be used to enhance productivity.

I have classified them into Developer Tools and Common Tools. And what’s more – They are free to use without any license tags attached.

Developer Tools –

1. SQLDBx – One of the most useful utilities from a database perspective. Can support both SQL 2000 and 2005 versions from Microsoft. Has an option to connect to Oracle and Sybase servers as well. Also, have options like intellisense and maintaining SQL History. Has various context menu options for exporting results to Excel, generating scripts for insert, update and delete for a particular row or set of rows affected. 2. FireBug – Nice add-on for Firefox which can be used for debugging, editing monitoring HTML rendering, JavaScript and CSS of any site. Also, has support for DOM as well. 1. To watch videos : Just click on a video to launch the player.
2. To record videos : Click on "Start recording" or "Record", start recording using the shortcuts or via the recorder.

You can add audio and an embed webcam while you are recording.
